| Bayside Plumbing Acquisition |
Providence, RI, 10/2/03 – Fast-growing Gem Plumbing has acquired 15-year old Bayside Plumbing and Heating, it was announced by Gem Vice President Anthony P. Gemma. The acquisition brings over 5000 customers in the greater Cranston area into the Gem service area. Bayside has seven employees and four trucks providing commercial and residential customers with 24-hour emergency service and installation. Gem's newly-expanded service team now includes more than 300 technicians and over 120 trucks, said Gemma.
In making the joint announcement, Gemma, Bayside president James Dugan, and Bayside vice president, Harry Alahverdian stressed their commitment to providing personal service and technical expertise to customers.
