| The Met High School Launches Random Acts of Kindness Initiative |
The Gem Random Acts of Kindness® Program has motivated the Met High School in Providence. The school is launching its Random Acts of Kindness Program in an effort to help their community by cleaning a neighborhood, shoveling the driveway of an elderly resident, or just helping someone out who needs a kind word.
“This is the only program of its kind in Rhode Island and we hope it generates national attention” said Anthony Gemma, President of Gem Plumbing & Heating. “The initiative here is to get classrooms throughout our community involved in a Random Acts of Kindness project. Once a school or classroom develops the project they want to work on, they can submit their project outline to us by clicking on the Random Acts of Kindness® logo at www.gemplumbing.com. Every entry will be reviewed and those projects chosen will receive the funding to make their act of kindness happen.
