Gem Plumbing & Heating has been named the 2003 “Business Partner of the Year” Award from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation – Rhode Island Affiliate. This award was presented to Gem for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the Rhode Island Affiliates media advertising campaign. Gem provided funding and media resources to the Foundation and helped in the development of a media campaign to aid in marketing Komen’s fundraising efforts. “Gem has been a very trusted and reliable business partner and remained completely dedicated to our cause” said Rebecca Gamage, Founding President of the Rhode Island Affiliate. “They continually strive to help us fulfill our mission of eradicating breast cancer as a life threatening disease”.
